With the current architecture on D8, if a site has thousands of nodes, with thousands of attached Paragraph entities and files, are there concerns with how much work the replication process would take for each deployment?

At the very least I think we could turn this into a documentation task that describes the performance considerations.

Has anyone tried writing test scripts to see how deployments might work for large sites?

Given that this would have to test two different installations, I suspect a shell script with Drupal Console and/or Drush commands might be necessary.
