This year, volunteers will be broken into two groups: Organizing Volunteers and Supporting Volunteers. Organizing Volunteers are the people who own specific roles that are vital to the success of the camp. These roles require a higher level of involvement and responsibility, especially prior to the camp. Supporting Volunteers are also vital to the success of the camp and will working with Organizing Volunteers to ensure all tasks in their area of interest are being accomplished.

Organizing Volunteers

All organizing volunteers should plan to attend the weekly planning meeting at least twice a month when items pertaining to their responsibilities are up for discussion. Meeting agendas will be posted Wednesday each week, giving Organizers the opportunity to reach out to the camp Project Manager if they are needed for an agenda item and unable to make that week's call.

This person may want to do all of this design work or use supporting volunteers to help with the various pieces.

I took my best guess at the volunteer positions we'll need for this year's camp. I based this on the lists I found in the Volunteer list from 2017 (https://www.drupal.org/node/2862726), as well as Matthew's list of things to do from last year (https://www.drupal.org/node/2845633). I thought it made sense to start fresh and give everyone the opportunity to re-volunteer for positions for this year in the interest of making sure no one feels forced into a position. Please comment in this thread to volunteer for a position or remind me of something I may have left out!

Hey @stierpm!
Glad to have you on board. I'll update the volunteer list based on what you mentioned. We'll be working on getting a marketing plan together in the coming weeks, so I'll be sure you're in touch with Kylie and updated with progress there.
