Hi. I would like to be able to make repeating date settings only available to certain roles. The big picture is Role A can submit events but there is no option to set events as repeating. Role B can submit events and can make those events repeating if they so choose.

+1 : a permission, or some other forms of security/limits, are necessary/needed for Date Repeat.

For the moment, I plan to use the Field formatter conditions module which would allow to hide the Date Repeat from certain Roles or anonymous users (have not tried it yet). EDIT: on second thought, I do not recommend installing the 'FFC' module on a live site (i.e. it is still beta).
