I have a CCK date field that is used in conjunction with news stories. It contains the posted on date, which we use to divide stories by year for archiving. I had to use this field rather than built in Node Date fields because we are migrating content from an old CMS and I need creation dates from 3 years back.

Before I updated the Views module to 6.x-2.12 I was able to use the field as an argument and show only stories from a given year. Now the field doesn't show up in Argument. It is in Fields and Sort Criteria. I have flushed all caches and run update.php

I think this should be the Date issue.

We're sorry but the D6 release of Date module is no longer being supported. You are encouraged to update to Drupal 7 or 8, or direct questions to Drupal Answers.
