I have been building out the dashboard for the Drupal.org redesign. The general plan is to first build it for Drupal.org and then make it work for any site. It is currently dependent on the Drupal.org theme and module to integrate with site-wide navigation. The code is in contrib/modules/drupalorg/dashboard. It should be moved to a generalized module because other people want it and it can spread out development effort.

I would like to move the project here. I was going to wait for the "make it work of any site" phase to ask, but there have been a few people at DrupalCon who are interested, so I think opening up development is good to do sooner rather than later.

Project owner changed to drumm, who can pass it along to another user if needed.

There may not be any need to preserve the old version of the code as I'd initially said in person, as it is archaic and I highly doubt anyone is using it. I would unpublish the releases.

Add me to the list of people interested in a general module for this. A user "homepage" is on my list of things to figure out how to do. That dashboard looks awesome. :)

Thanks.

I marked the 4.7 release as unsupported. It will show in 'view all releases' if someone really wants it.

Hi, I want to ask about the needs or open issues for moving this module to a generalized purpose. I need a similar module for a client. The question is: can I participate into the development of this module or do I better create my own? What do you think?

Sure you can particiapte in developing this module.
