Mission Statement drops to bottom of page after resizing slideshow

I created a "site-mission"-block and entered mission statement successfully.
I changed and added pictures successfully.
I resized the slideshow according tot the handbook - successfully, BUT my mission-statement somehow 'drops' to the bottom of the page...

Fiddling with the #mission .region settings can make go to the very top of the slideshow. Any suggestions on how I should get it back to were it should be (at the bottom of the slideshow).
