When a user select either the weekly or the daily calendar view the 'day' link appears under the title of the view if the month has a long name, for example: the link 'day' is overwritten by 'Week of november...' or 'Sunday, november...'. When the name of the month gets longer the title 'grows' in the direction of the 'year' 'month' 'week' 'day' links on the left and overwrites the 'day' link.
I've tried to change the layout from three to two columns with no result. Obviously it doesn't look pretty and I'd like to fix it, how can I do it?
Thanks a lot

I'm sure this is not the best solution but it's the only one my little 'drupal knowledge' could come up with.
Unless someone suggests a better solution, I think I can close this.

Views 6.x-2.12
Date 6.x-2.7
Calendar 6.x-2.4
The slide show stops moving when l use a weekly or daily view.
Your solution did not help me.
See http://familiekloots.nl
I use the css from calendar 7.x-3.0-alpha1 instead of 6.x-2.4 because 7.x-3.0-alpha1 version is slightly easier adjustable but the problem was also with version 6.x-2.4

lucabarbetti CreditAttribution: lucabarbetti commentedHi Niek,
sorry but I don't know how to help you, I can only say that I've used calendar 6.x-2.x-dev to fix my problem (other than few minor changes in the css files) and that I've never had problems with the slideshow...
I'm a newbie and as such I've realized that to combine the needed modules and make them work flawlessly is more difficult than tuning a 100,000 pipe pipe-organ!!!

I tried several changes in the css for calendar that didn't work.
Like my adjusted calendar css more then a slideshow.
