Install this module:

https://drupal.org/project/dan_polaroid

And then enable the submodule "Front page" and the enable the feature "Frontpage".

The dan_polaroid is installed and enabled.
I enabled the feature "Frontpage" in admin/structure/features.
But how can I set it (use it)?

Go to views. Look which view was generated by the feature. Look at its path

Look which path is set to frontpage:

admin/config/system/site-information

Clear cache ... then it should work.

There is nothing view (which was generated by the feature) in Views (admin/structure/views). :(
Only these are:

Archive
Backlinks
Front page (-> Emulates the default Drupal front page; you may set the default home page path to this view to make it your front page.)
Glossary
Recent comments
Taxonomy term
Tracker

May be it is a bug. May be it is a interference with the default frontpage view of the views module. The dan polaroid frontpage view and the views frontpage view were on the same path "frontpage". In version 7.x-1.1 I fixed this and set the path to "polaroid-frontpage".

to do:
* dan theme install and enable (and set default)
* dan_polaroid module install, enable
* In Features (admin/structure/features) enable the: "DAN Polaroid Front Page" (Provides a frontpage in DAN polaroid look.)

And use the "polaroid-frontpage" view. :)

Which image will appear in "polaroid-frontpage"?
How can I set the node (page) to display in that view?

I have this set to my home page and it works.

I've created a couple of pages and done a "Promoted to front page" on them.
The nice blocks do appear, but how do I get images on them. I just get colours behind the 'read more' text.
I've tried to add an image to the page that I promote but that doesnt work.

Please advise.

DAN-polaroid is a great theme with nice look.
Is it possible to use this look not only on the frontpage but also on some subpages of the website and how would be the configurations?
