I would like to become a co-maintainer/maintainer of this module so that we have a dedicated branch with a lot of the new features the wojtha, myself, and others have been working on. This code is currently hosted on github forks, and a couple users have mentioned that this is confusing. See #1701192: Start a 7.x-2.x branch of ctools_automodal for details.

I'm still interested in maintaining, but there also haven't been any RTBC issues at all, so nothing has needed my immediate attention. I don't oppose bringing a maintainer on, but I would want that maintainer to be active in patching and reviewing issues here and not on Github.

Sorry for the slow reply. My main incentive for wanting to become a co-maintainer was to create a 2.x branch so we could get all of the AJAX form patches committed to one release and move all of that development back to d.o., but it sounds like the plan is to just merge everything into the 1.x branch. It's difficult to get people exicted about the cool possibilities this module brings when it isn't clear where you can download the "cutting-edge" code.

I'll try to work on a patch to merge everything together in the next week or two, and we can revisit my co-maintainership after that.
