"term has parents" always passes parent term

There is a checkbox in the "Taxonomy: term has parent(s)" criterion to include the parent term as well as the child terms when determining whether a variant should be displayed. However, in practice the parent term is always included. The test for the parent term is exactly the same as the test for a child term.
