I am working with a curriculum that said to download the CSS injector for Druapl 7 and that if it didn't update the changes to CSS to download the development version of CSS. After the initial download the CSS didn't change after I entered it so I tried uninstalling the module so that I could download the dev version of the module. It says that it successfully installed but it is still listed under modules and is just disabled. Because of this it won't let me download the dev version because it still recognizes the CSS injector as being installed. Is there any fixes for this or ways to get it to uninstall?

uninstall does not remove files from the system. It merely removes data from the database after disabling the module. To remove the files from the system, you must delete manually. However, caution should be utilized when using a -dev module. Thus, it would aid to explain what you are trying to change and why you believe injector doesn't work.
