ezraw commentedVilash, would this be just for display of the course content, or do you envision that the hierarchy would effect the course workflow logic?
E.g., does the user always continue moving ahead to the next available content object until he/she reaches the bottom of that part of the hierarchy tree and then move up to the next branch?

invincible1388 commentedYea just for display of course content. Actually it doesnt look that attractive when you have to create course system with examples for each topic, lessons or units. So is there a way i can achieve it?

scottrigby@invincible1388 since #1361754: Support books as course objects, books (a hierarchical organization of content) can now be course objects. Just enable course_book module and set a book as one of your course objects. Already you can display the entire book hierarchy, by adding the core Book navigation block to your page (either in block settings, through the Context module, through panels, or however you want to expose this block to learners).
Now, IMO that is not the ideal way to present a book as a course object. Personally I think we still need two things:

djdevinFixed, course object modules can change the outline. Look at course_book for how it's done.
