Initial steps to improve page loading speed -

  1. Remove unused CSS & JS inherited from the base theme
  2. Merge, minify & lazy-load your subtheme assets
  3. Avoid unnecessary attach_library() in Twig templates
  4. Use Drupal's lazy asset loading features
  5. Advanced Aggregation (AdvAgg) module
