Hi,

Thanks for the sleek looking theme and especially the Wiki. As I'm currently upgrading a Drupal 6 site to Drupal 7, and having chosen your theme as the new look and feel, the tutorial was extremely helpful as I build my new site on my local computer.

However, I had one quick question, in that the arrow that triggers the drop down box next to "About" disappears when I either log out of my dev site or if I navigate to another section of the site. At first, I figured it was a permissions issue, but now I'm not so sure.

I apologize if this was addressed elsewhere, though I looked for similar issues and came up empty. If you had any tips on how to fix this, please let me know. Thanks in advance for your help.

Mike

when logged in, go to > structure > menus > main menu

where it says "about" click "edit"

make sure "show as expanded" is selected

Thanks for the tip. I tried that adjustment but it didn't fix the issue. The arrow next to "About" is only visible when one is in actually in the "About" menu yet this problem does not seem to exist on the demo site for the theme where you can navigate to other areas of the site and the drop down arrow doesn't disappear. Any other ideas? Thx for the help.

yeah i had this problem to begin with, on my site if i select "show as expanded", i get the arrow wherever i am on the site, and if i de-select it, the arrow only shows when i have already clicked on the about link.

have you tried selecting it, saving it, then resetting the cache, or do a cache reset in your browser (ctrl + f5)?

Title: Drop down icon next t to "About" disappears » Drop down icon next to "About" disappears

Yup...tried clearing the cache and that didn't fix it either. I could Firebug it and poke around the CSS since it may have something to do with an img tag in the header menu, but beyond that, I'm not sure what else I'd try. I suppose I could compare the CSS of my local site to the CSS of the demo site. I'm not planning on launching my new site any time soon, but it'd be nice to fix these kinds of small things first.

For anyone else with this issue, the solution was to simply install and activate Superfish using the following procedure: http://drupal.org/node/1447510#comment-6682456.
