I am in the process of testing this theme out from a default Drupal 7.8 installation (MySQL backend). Made a few Basic Pages of content to populate the Menus. Initially, the Menus worked fine in dropping down. Switched themes (to try another) then back to this theme. The "drop down" functionality is now missing. One has to click the actual menu item, then the next, then the next (did a three tier menu for testing here) to go through things now.
Thanks in advance.

LinuxETC CreditAttribution: LinuxETC commentedFurther clarification.
I have to click on a Menu item to get the drop down to show up for the next level where only one will show even if there are multiple levels under it.
Example of what I currently have with Basic Content pages:
Home
Item 1
-- Subitem 11
---- Subitem 111
---- Subitem 112
-- Subitem 12
Item 2
-- Subitem 21
So I click on "Item 1" above. I can then see "Subitem 11" and "Subitem 12" since they are both at the same level. However, hovering over "Sub Item 11" will not show "Subitem 111" nor "Subitem 112".
Hovering over "Item 1" will also show "Subitem 11" and "Subitem 12". Note after it is clicked.
Hovering over "Item 2" will not show any drop downs. I would have to click on "Item 2" to see those drop downs active.
HTH for clarification some more.

you should enable the "Show as expanded" attribute to the first menu link item (parent item),
Home » Administration » Structure » Menus » Main menu » list links (OPERATIONS) » edit first menu link item (parent item) » enable the "Show as expanded".
See also http://drupal.org/node/1219060 Let me know if everything went well.

Thanks, that seems to have done the trick.
What I am guessing happened is in switching between a few themes then back, this option you mentioned the "Show as expanded" attribute may have been changed in the process.
It is fixed, closing this item. Hopefully this will help others as well.
