Hello,

We are preparing to deploy a stack of iPads next year, and I have spent the past couple of weeks working on a site for this. Testing the site using iOS4 works well. The drop down menus at the top of the screen behave as required, allowing you to tap on a button and then select your option, before the browser redirects to the page required.

As we are also testing iOS5 for the iPad, I noticed that we are having a problem with this drop down menu system. If you tap on a category, it goes straight to an item on the list BEFORE you have even selected it. You need to be a speed demon in order to try to select the item you want, and even this doesn't always work.

I noticed that the blue loading bar seems to run for around 2 minutes, and only after it stops loading does the menu system start working again.

Any ideas?

Maybe consider using the Superfish module for your menus, it has baked in support for touchscreens: http://drupal.org/project/superfish

This is old, cleaning and closing.

If it is still the case, and still want to reopen, just change the issue status.
