I'm not working on the porting of this module. This is an open issue if you want to port it great, I could contribute some efforts of mine.

I have almost finished with porting to Drupal8 main module janrain and submodules janrain_admin_ui, janrain_widgets. Can I replace your code at http://cgit.drupalcode.org/janrain branch 8.x-1.x.
Code could contain bugs and it is first version. But it is first start.

In order to replace the code you need to become maintainer of Janrain module, use the issue queue of the project to request that. Otherwise you need to provide a patch there, so the maintainer can apply it on d.o.

As you can read at the project page of D8CPT the Status values are used differently from module projects. The correct Status is Closed (duplicate), meaning the current name is not going to be used for the D8 version.

Anybody can provide this information to this issue.
