Provides a Slideshow formatter for Image fields, using JQuery Cycle plugin. Compared to Views slideshows, building the slideshow from multiple nodes, this module builds it from a single node, with a multi-valued Image/Media/Field Collection field.

Hello jdanthinne,

We , "The Drupal Geeks" http://drupalgeeks.com/ , a subsidiary of Ameex Technologies http://ameexusa.com/ are planning to run a codesprint- module porting to D8 in the early weeks of May. From our initial analysis , we see that Field Slideshow is widely used in Drupal websites . Porting the module to D8 is the need of the hour and we would be happy to do the same as a part of the sprint. I will be taking ownership for the module and keeping you posted about it. Just wanted to know if anyone already started on this, is it on github?

Updated the issue summary with the link to the meta issue and the port process. Will work on triaging the issues to be more fine.
P.S. : I am one of the co-maintainers of the module and should be able to review any pull requests that I get as soon as I can. Would appreciate any help that I could get with this.

I have completed 70% of the work and it will be helpful if you provide me the co-maintainer access in-order to push the code to git repository.
