Hi
I committed some changes to this module back in 6.x and 7.x and helped out in the issue queue (https://www.drupal.org/node/112767/committers) but have not been involved in the D8 work. Is this module also to use https://www.drupal.org/project/social_api ?

BTW, What state is the D8 module in at the moment?

The D8 port needs someone to do the porting effort, possibly join as a new comaintainer if interested.
