CRM Core is a set of modules that provide contact management functionality within Drupal web sites. The module supports contacts, relationships and activities, and provides various UI elements can can (optionally) be used for maintaining these entities. It also provides support for identifying duplicate contacts, linking contact records to user accounts, and generating reports.

Does anyone have any info on where things are with the port? I've never contributed before but I'm interested in helping; and I also have some funding coming in from a client who needs this to move. Where might we start?

Would love to use Drupal 8 for a small CRM I'm working on right now. Will try this and hope to start contributing patches if it looks like it could work within my timeframe. Love to hear any updates on what's going on!

How about CRM Core for D8? Are there any plans to continue with?
As far as I see it doesn't advance as long as the relation module don't advance?

RoSk0, do you have a roadmap for D8? I've had a chance to check out the port recently and it looks like good progress is being made. Sparks Interactive will be working on a CRM Core build in the coming weeks so I'd love to help out and contribute some stuff to get an official release of CRM Core out.

We are evaluating to move from CiviCRM on drupal 7 to CRM Core on drupal 8. Do I understand correctly that CRM Core Relationships are right now not available because there is no drupal 8 port of the Relation module? Do you wait for the Relation module to be ported or will you try to replace that dependency?
I search through the issues but could not find anything about the Relation module.

Okay, composer does install me the correct relation module. Now, when I activate the Relationship module of CRM Core, I get an error due to the use of get_t() instead of t(). I am assuming that the porting of the Relationship module of CRM Core has not yet started. Is that correct? I was working on git branch 8.x-1.x (and composer/8.x-2.x looks the same, regarding the Relationship module).

the crm_core_contact module contains not applicable dependencies - "entities" and "name".
entity must be removed from dependencies because it is included in the core
