Working with contemplate is a great joy.
Its not so good when you make a change and loose some of your work.
It would be great if contemplates were stored in special nodes so that we could benefit from revisions and diff.
Then I could pretty much stop using the views theme wizard and all those tpl.php files... at least on simple projects.

thanks for a great module.

Just another user expressing an interest in this functionality. I had actually been coming here to enter this one myself, but during my background duplicate check, I found that Veggieryan had beat me to it.

My use case is clients that can't make up their mind. They decide they want to improve on your layout, put you thru 3-4 iterations and then say "Can we go back to that first one?" Now unless you have been keeping copies of all this on the side, you have to try and remember what it looked like and recreate the code.

Revisions and DIFF would make this so much easier :-)

Revisions, isn't a bad Idea, its something I have never implemented, so I might need some help, I will think on it.

I too would be interested in this feature as at present I have to remember to cut the existing content to a notepad while I play, and if I don't get the results I expect, copy it back.

An extrapolation of this idea might be to allow for randomising the template, say daily, weekly etc

If a full revisions option is not viable then maybe an option to save a snapshot of existing template with a revert option?
