Creating a link based on the path is a great feature. Thank you for that.

The only thing I am missing to make it perfect is the ability for that menu link to have a description and a weight.

The description field form item should have a description explaining where is going to be displayed.
Also a weight field under the path will allow more flexibility to position that field.

I think I can provide the patch.
