Configuration Kits

This project is meant as central registry for modules that act as a configuration kit, or include one or more as a submodule. These modules make life easier for site builders, by compiling a set of best practices that can be shared and reused. Note that most of the configuration kits listed here are now available as recipes.

Current examples include:

• Alerts - Creates a system for managing and displaying important messages. A submodule places the alerts at the top of every page, and provides Javascript to allow visitors to dismiss alerts and have their choice remembered.
• Locations - Creates a system for collecting location information (offices, stores, campus buildings, etc) and displaying them in a map.
• Person - Creates a system for managing and displaying information about your people. For example, in a staff directory, faculty listing, or board of directors page, sorted alphabetically by last name.
• Quick Links Kit - Creates a system for managing links with SVG icons, designed to be shown in a block on the home page. An optional submodule provides some interface improvements when used with the Olivero theme, and places the block onto the home page when installed
• Tasks - Creates a system for managing user-specific tasks. An optional submodule provides some interface improvements when used with the Olivero theme
• Smart Date Starter Kit - Creates an Event content type and a related Events view, with tabs to show upcoming and past events
• Smart Date Calendar Kit - Adds onto the starter kit above to add a calendar view, with drag-and-drop editing and creation of events
• Event Platform - Provides a rich set of capabilities to organize an event like a DrupalCamp

Submodules

• SVG Image Field - Has a submodule for use with Olivero that provides some configuration as well as some additional formatting
• Webform - Includes multiple submodules that provide configuration, such as for event registration, application evaluation, and more
• Search API Solr - Includes a "defaults" submodule that creates a typical, single-language Solr index

Experimental

• Smart Date Registration Kit - Configures an Event product type, with the date on the product variation, to allow paid registration
• Acquia CMS Place Leaflet View - A system for creating Place nodes and plotting them on a Leaflet map, with text listings below
