I am using composer manager in my drupal 8.0.5 install. Now Composer manager is no longer supported and it asked me to uninstall it.
I want to update my site to latest 8.3 version. Now if I disable and uninstall this module will my site work correctly?
I assume i have to follow -> uninstall composer manager module -> update drupal to 8.3 -> download modules dependency with core composer.json
I feel I have to somehow merge core/composer.json with current composer manager composer.json but how to do so?
I am confused, please help.

markhalliwellSince this module no longer officially supports Drupal 8 (because it has native composer support since 8.1.x+), marking this issue as outdated.
