After I upgrading composer_manager from 8.x-1.0-beta3 to 8.x-1.x-dev (2015-Aug-21)
I deleted core/vendor, then run
1. `php scripts/init.php` from inside the composer_manager module directory
2. Run `composer drupal-install` from the root.
The error below suggests that I need the old core/vendor folder back to run it first, then I can delete it later.

skyredwangI put the folder back, then installed, checked root/autoload.php, looked correct. and the site is back alive

bojanz CreditAttribution: bojanz at Centarro commented\Drupal\composer_manager\Composer\Command::getPackageManager() needs to stop including the root autoload.php
It should include the root vendor/autoload.php if found, otherwise register its own autoloader (since we can't rely on core/vendor existing).
This will become important as soon as core actually removes core/vendor from git.

bojanz CreditAttribution: bojanz at Centarro commentedCore has just moved vendor from core to the root, so this situation doesn't exist anymore.
