Example below is one way to have a consistent full node template for all content types (well, all but the wiki maybe)...
We have the question content type where user might not enter anything in the body field, so putting the user picture to the right of that field would be a mistake.
Since author and date information is displayed on all types -- place user picture to the left of "author and date info"; and place body field after.
Node title should be full width of panel -- more efficient use of space.
