Can someone tell me which icon set Drupal Commons is currently using and if there are additional icons in the set.
I have some additional menu items like Training, Videos and Courses that I would want icons for and instead of searching for a new icon set, I wanted to ask if there were additional icons available in this set.

Even some instructions re: how to manually add new icons would be great. Also, is there a way to have it only display the icon with no text?

It's a multi-step process and I'll try to go back and document it step-by-step. But the gist of it is I downloaded one of the icons and used it as a template and created a new icon in gimp. I renamed it and uploaded it back to the same folder. I then went into the main CSS file, copied one of the sections referring to the other menu items and customized it for my new menu item. I think the end result is pretty good, although I might go back and tweak my icon a little more so it matches the others.
I'll take a crack at working up a step-by-step later on today.
Did anyone find some additional icons? It'd be great if we had a better interface for specifying icons for new menu items with soem prepopulated icons.

Anonymous (not verified) CreditAttribution: Anonymous commentedFYI - I ended up using the Menu Icons module and it worked very well. It allows you to assign an icon image to the menu item. Additionally, I did not want the text to display the Menu Icons has an option to hide the text if an image is uploaded. Worked great.

Thanks!

1) What do the distro maintainers feel about this question - "Even some instructions re: how to manually add new icons would be great. Also, is there a way to have it only display the icon with no text?" Should we be making sub-themes?
2) The Menu icons module looks like a great solution. Are the distro maintainers considering adding support for that?

ezra-g CreditAttribution: ezra-g commentedI agree that Menu icons is a good solution here for adding site-specific icons. There's no current icon set beyond the default ones which are available in the Commons download and as part of the Commons design source project.

Integration with https://www.drupal.org/project/icon would be welcome :)
