The current development package seems so much better than both alpha1 and 2 versions. However, I would like to suggest the following UI improvements...

1. Firstly, an icon should be used instead of the direct url link for the social profile links. (e,g: use FB logo instead of showing url http://www.facebook.com/username when viewing profile)

2. The "request new password" link on the profile editing page seems absurd when a logged in user can change the password then and there. ( i mean since i am on my profile editing page i probably knows my Psswrd and don't need to retrieve a new one, i can change that, then and there!)

3. When viewing one's own profile, activity status messages should be in the first person (eg: you are following, your followere, you haven't bookmarked any content etc instead of saying, this user...).

4. I feel that the "Most Active Groups" block should not display the group content titles but only the Group names. The content titles should be listed in another block such as "Recent Sitewide Contents" with the name of the group in which it has been submitted to and by whom.

5. Group creation activity message should read " created by:" and not submitted by.

Just a thought

In general, it's better to make a separate issue for each suggestion, so each issue can be acted upon independently of the others. However I think I can answer most of these.

1: the profile page has the icon + the link (does this address your concern?)

2: this is Drupal core! you should file an issue here (agree, it doesn't seem useful here)

3. We purposely didn't want to create extra work switching out words (You vs This person). You can file an issue though; it might be something that can be addressed alter one.

4. Can you repurpose this issue (or create a separate issue), with an annotated screenshot with your suggestion?

5. I'm not sure which page you're looking at, but we have language in the design using 'created by.' This also needs a separate issue which I've created #1872354: Theme "authored by" information in node teasers

Is it important to have the defaults endorse specific sites?

Maybe someone has their own blog or prefers Google+ or Tumblr or it's a site with a photography aspect and they'd like to link flickr, etc.

Could simply have a "Links" field that accepts multiple URLs.

I'm concerned that if I add/remove that I'll lose all future upgrades?
