Is it possible to implement selection of subscribed role? So I can create different subscriptions for different roles(eg.: client, VIP client, bla bla bla).

I'm going to try and implement this as well. My idea is to add a http://drupal.org/project/rolereference to the subscription product type, then in the rules source that as the role when the user checkouts. I believe this is how role_expires does it.

Hi I'm wanting the same feature pls. I currently have 5 different subscription products that I need to limit with the correct user roles, thereby limiting what the user can access based on his subscription. Thanks

If I get someone to subscribe, how do I add them to a role automatically?

Is it currently supported to add a role to a user upon buying product, remove them from it when their membership has lapsed?

This is what CiviCRM Civimember currently does, but wanted to implement without all that bloat.
