Downloads OK however when you press the install button I get the following error message: "The website encountered an unexpected error. Please try again later." tried uninstalling several times now can you please help?

Go to admin/config/development/logging and enable error reporting, that will show you the real error.
You can also consult admin/reports/dblog for related error messages.
