Stable Drupal 8 Release!

The two big new features are camera based barcode scanning and the experimental customer display. Also included are a number of smaller improvements and a couple bugfixes. For a list of all the functionality in the new Drupal 8 version, see the release announcement

Release candidate!

This release is off our normal every second Wednesday schedule, due to being busy at Drupalcon, we will still have a normally scheduled release in May.

This release adds

This release should be feature complete with all the default features, pending no significant issues between now and next month, next months release may be RC1.

Significant Features:

Big change here is the Product widget is functionally comparable. There are a few small bits missing that were waiting on Commerce core fixes, but those should all be fixed up for the next release.

Totals have also be improved to function much more like the D7 version.

This release also contains a number of smaller bugfixes.

Initial working release, can process through transactions. Recommended to wait until alpha2 to use for anything other than testing and development.

Initially it was intended that the next release would be RC1, we still have 3 RC blockers outstanding though, yet many other fixes. Instead of holding up the release waiting for them, I decided to release another beta in the meantime.

The big new features are cashiers and email receipts, with a lot of little usability improvements and bugfixes as well.

Fixed a number of issues with running POS on a stock install instead of commerce kickstart, it should now install nicely on a base install. Fixed a number of small display and UX elements.
Moved everything under admin instead of just /pos so it shows in menus and uses admin theme
