Release notes

This new release adds significant features to ensure merchants can include PayPal Credit messaging in appropriate areas of their stores. It includes:

  1. A messaging block for placement on the homepage and catalog / product pages.
  2. A global setting for toggling messaging on or off on Add to Cart forms.
  3. A Views area handler for adding order specific messaging to the shopping cart and checkout forms.

To see the various style options available to you, reference the PayPal documentation.

You can see it in action on our demo site; this screenshot shows the cart messaging block properly representing the payment amounts relative to the order total:

Note: as of right now, you cannot use both the credit messaging elements and Smart Payment Buttons on the same page. The module ensures this won't happen in checkout, but it is up to you to make sure your configuration for the shopping cart form doesn't create a conflict. If you do not currently show Smart Payment Buttons on your cart form, it is safe to add messaging elements to it instead.
