The Commerce License Entity Field module provides a License type for Commerce License which when granted, sets a value on an entity field. The field and the value are configured in the product, while the entity to change is chosen by the purchasing user.
Example use cases
Site users create article nodes. A user can upgrade one of their article nodes to be promoted to the front page by purchasing an entity field license.
A single Product Variation holds the configuration of the entity type and bundle, the name of the field to set, and the value to set.
When a user purchases a license, they set the article entity to which the license applies.
Status
This module is incomplete. See the README for details.
