How do I get rid of this strict warning?

After installing commerce_contributions I have this warning:

Strict warning: Only variables should be passed by reference in commerce_contributions_field_formatter_view() (line 253 of /home/dev/domains/dev/public_html/drupal-7/sites/all/modules/commerce_contributions/commerce_contributions.module).

The modules works, how do I get rid if this warning?
