I just found out that the user, though does get notified about all replies to their content, don't receive any notifications when those replies get edited.

I would like to request this functionality, because it seems to me only logical to receive notifications not only about new replies posted, but also about all changes made to them afterwards.

I'm not sure this makes sense to include in comment_notify, which is meant to just be a super lightweight notification system.

I know that on groups.drupal.org it currently mails people on every comment edit and many people find it annoying.

I plan to leave this open for now, but my feeling is it should be marked as "won't fix."
