Custom position of the caption

Hello,

as far as I see, it's not possible to determine individually, where the caption is supposed to appear. It automatically appears as overlay at the bottom of the image, isn't readable very well and hides a part of the image that way.

So I would like to request a feature that would allow to either place the caption individually or at least to choose from some more options like "below the image" or "right/left of the image".
