Support for Drupal 7 is ending on 5 January 2025—it’s time to migrate to Drupal 10! Learn about the many benefits of Drupal 10 and find migration tools in our resource center.
The javascript files used to be in a 'js' subdirectory, but are now at the top level. 7.x-2.x has been updated to reflect this, but 7.x-1.x does not work with current versions of colorbox, and previous versions (<1.3.21) are no longer available for download.

ianthomas_ukAh, actually this has been fixed, but there was no issue raised. Please release that change ASAP, or at least note the incompatibility on the module page. I've just lost half a day looking into this issue, because the change wasn't documented by either yourself or Jack Moore :(

ianthomas_ukWhile has already been fixed, there isn't actually an issue for it to be a duplicate of, and the code still hasn't been released.
Is there any reason not to just release 7.x-1.x as 7.x-1.5? Because of this change 7.x-1.4 just does not work.

frjo CreditAttribution: frjo commentedCan you confirm that 7.x-1.x works as it should? IF you can I will releases 7.x-1.5 directly.
I ask for reviews in #1890116: hook_libraris_info() need update refer to latest Colorbox plugins but did not get any for the 7.x-1.x branch.
Any reason you don't use 7.x-2.x?

ianthomas_ukYes - I can confirm that this is fixed in 7.x-1.x.
I can't use 7.x-2.x because I've got forms in color boxes (login form and some custom forms), so I will need to migrate those to alternative solutions.
