Introduction

This module enables the Track Changes plugin from CKEditor.com in your WYSIWYG. The plugin provides the option to track the changes (additions / deletions) made to your editor's text, with the support of multi-user changes, meaning, changes will be colored differently for each user and will show the user information, enabling you to see exactly who is the change owner.

The operations supported by the plugin are:

  • Enable / Disable Track Changes
  • Show / Hide Track Changes
  • Accept / Reject All Changes
  • Accept / Reject A Single Change
  • Displays The Changed Text Author
  • Displays The Change Timestamp

Requirements

  1. CKEditor Module (Core)

Installation

  1. Download the plugin from http://ckeditor.com/addon/lite
  2. Place the plugin in the root libraries folder (/libraries).
  3. Enable CKEditor Track Changes in the Drupal admin.
  4. Configure your WYSIWYG toolbar to include the buttons.

This project only handles the bridge between Track Changes and Drupal. For support to the Track Changes library feel free to ask at their project page.
