Problem/Motivation

This issue seeks to add Drupal 11 support. CKEditor does not support Drupal 11, and CKEditor5 removed the 'ckeditor4to5upgrade' plugin manager in Drupal 11.

Proposed resolution

  • Add D11 support.
  • Drop support for 'ckeditor' and 'ckeditor4to5upgrade' plugin types.

Work will happen in 2.x branch and be released in 2.0.0.
