Hi,

I am not 100% sure if this already there, but with the new Drupal 7.x version with node.js I would like to inject conversation into a chat room (or rooms) from a custom module. This would be basically a method of stimulating conversation or allowing people to follow an event (like a sporting match) and add additional content.

seems reasonable. the 7.x-2.x code is a long way from ready, but this should be easy to add.

Thanks, it is going to be a while before I upgrade to the site in question to 7.x, and chatroom with node.js will be the only thing that can support the size of the site that I am looking at using it on.
