Benefits:
1. no longer restricted by antiquated .theme templating system
2. can remove support for .theme templates from core

There was previously an attempt at this for 4.7.x/5.x here: #119929: Chameleon/Marvin converted to PHPtemplate.

Yes, I do know someone running Marvin on a Drupal 5.x site..! :-P

Hi,

I'm using my website using Marvin on a drupal 5.1 site. I'm facing one problem which i want to rectify.
Cross screen size differences. When the screen is re-sized, or if the aspect ratio changes, the screen doesn't re-align. It looks totally out of sorts. Could you help on how to adjust the marvin theme/css so that it works fine?

@raghunathrn: This is a feature request, not a support request; you should ask your question to the forum.

Hmm… it seems likely that it would be easier to maintain this theme as a phptemplate theme. I'll seriously consider this.

Trying to update this to d7.0 as a phptemplate was way easier than trying to mess with this theme's .theme file. :-p
