Hi all,
I have done the setup using 6.x-1.0-beta2 and have double checked the settings and permissions but can't see any "Signup" link on Event page for signup. After spending some time on research and inspection it seems to me that there is some problem with automatically created event content type as the link only does not appear for this content type. When I enable signup "field_event_signup(Event)" field to some other content type the links appears. So the problem is with the automatically created content type not with any other module.
Does anyone else has the same problem? Or just I am missing any part?

I'm having the same problem with the Signup link not appearing. I'm not sure what you mean when you say "enable signup "field_event_signup(Event)" field to some other content type". I can't get the link to appear on any content type. I'm also having some weird issue where I can't create a content type called "Event". Because of that issue, Basic CCK Signup doesn't work.

I'm new to Drupal, so could easily be missing something obvious. Do you have a workaround? I really need this module to work for me!

After doing more research, I realized part of my original problem was my event had a date in the past (I'm testing by entering old data). I still don't know what's causing my inability to create an Event content type, and am having other problems getting CCK Signup to work though.
