It's always a good thing to be able to see what a module looks like in real without having to install it for that, so as to be able to evaluate if it fits the needs. Many module project pages have a link "Try out a demonstration" to a live test site where one can try out the module or at least a "Look at screenshots" link where one can see on a picture what it looks like.
Please add something like that to http://drupal.org/project/cck_fieldgroup_tabs

nedjoAgreed, I just don't happen to have (yet) a public website for such demos or screenshots. Working on it. Meantime, offers of such would be welcome.

rsvelko CreditAttribution: rsvelko commentedHi :) Here ( http://demo.segments.at/demo/cck_fieldgroup_tabs ) I've created a demo site for this module.
There you will find demo pages for lots of other modules that I am so kind to host :) Some of the modules are mine.
Marking as fixed cause I like the green color.
PS. The demo is for 6.x.

rsvelko CreditAttribution: rsvelko commentedActually - it will be fixed when the maintainer edits the project page and add the link to the demo page ...
Changing to 6.x. version so users wont get confused...

nedjoThanks!
However, the demo doesn't seem to be working (page not found error). Could you have a look? Thanks.

rsvelko CreditAttribution: rsvelko commentedhttp://demo.segments.at/demo/cck_fieldgroup_tabs - someone edited the node title thus changing the url :)
Please add this link to the project page as a link to a demo - edit the project page and paste it there.
Cheers.

thank you very much for the demo page. that made all the difference.
in the visual i was able to see a key thing i was missing: it is the fieldgroups that generate the tabs. not the fields you put in them. ah ha!

El Bandito CreditAttribution: El Bandito commentedHi
I've had a look at the online demo provided by rsvelko ( thanks BTW ) but as yet haven't got the D6 version of the module to work. Can someone confirm that the result of the module in terms of the node edit form is that each fieldset activated as a TAB gets it's own TAB, and that non-CCK fields such as Title and Body and the Submit button are displayed on every TAB ?
Thanks
El B
