When using caption filter: title "stripped" in colorbox link

Great module, but there is a problem:

1) I insert an image into CKEditor via the insert module and give it a caption -> everything looks fine

2) I insert an image with the colorbox format link via the insert module and give it a caption -> everything looks fine EXCEPT when I click the image in the node, and the colorbox pops up: THE TITLE IS GONE (colorbox should show the image title as a "caption" below the image).

3) When I remove the caption, THE TITLE IS BACK in the colorbox.

Hope this description makes sense.

In essense: when using caption filter: title/caption is gone in colorbox.

Anyone?
