Add year next to month to calendar block header

Pretty much as the title suggests, currently the block header nav only shows the month, and I would like to add the year to it, for example "August 2011" just like it appears on the page view, how would I accomplish this? Perhaps in a tpl? I looked in the theme folder but did not see anything that struck me as a tpl for the block (I also tried searching but seem to only get results about the year view), please advise, thanks!
