Firstly, thanks for the awesome module, it's the best caching module for Drupal!

However, having a couple of issues with memcache and cache clearing.

The earlier / integrated memcache project page states:


Please upgrade to the newest PECL package (2.2.1) (or a higher 2.2.x version) to avoid a bug with deletes not happening.
....
Also note that the 3.x versions of the PECL package have not been tested with this module and are reported not to work.

Debian Lenny currently runs php5-memcache 3.0.1 and memcached 1.2.2

Is this compatible with the "cache" module? Have any updates happened since porting from the memcache project to make it compatible with 3.x.

Or, does it require php5-memcache 2.x

any advice much appreciated
