Sorry for not responding to this sooner. For some reason I wasn't getting updates on issues. These 404 errors come from trying to download thumbnails that don't exist. Unfortuently the only way to know a thumbnail doesn't exist is to check for it and get the 404 error. I'll see what I can do it catch the errors so they don't get reported.

Should be fixed by http://drupalcode.org/project/cablecast.git/commit/7ca9d9d

I'll leave this open for a bit. If anyone else has warnings when running the cron please post them here.
