The Browscap download URL used in 6.x-2.0 is out of date. It has been fixed in 6.x-2.x-dev. In my opinion, either a new 6.x-2.x release is needed, or 6.x-2.0 should be removed as a recommended release. If an administrator newly installs 6.x-2.0 it will not work at all without editing the code.

For now I'd like to help do reviews of the 7.x-2.x branch, but am very happy for you to be involved in backporting things to 6.x.
