Brilliant gallery can't display images in some folder names. I figured out, that it might be the occasion when using multiple minus signs in folder name. For example:
2006-09-valik

I have a folder called a-u-t-o. Using [bg|a-u-t-o] my gallery displays correctly using Drupal 6.4 and BG 6.x-1.2.
I even created a folder called "2006-09-valik" and was able to correctly display pictures in that gallery...

Sorry that I can't figure out the problem, can you investigate further and give more info?
What version of Drupal are you using?

Strange. I'm using the same versions. I think, I can't provide any more info. There is no error output, no warning.
