when using the following filter definition
[bg|bvz-19270611|3|200]
the resulting table shows the (portrait) pictures with huge black gap between each (see http://archiv.bgv-rhein-berg.de/node/2147 )
Is this a known bug or am I doing something wrong?

Vacilando CreditAttribution: Vacilando commented1) No gallery shows on that page. Can you make it show so that I can look at it?
2) Use the latest version of BG (now at 2.10).

schildi CreditAttribution: schildi commentedSorry, when installing version 2.8. the info file defining the dependency "lightbox2" was overwritten.
I also just installed version 5-2.10 and the effect described is still present.

Vacilando CreditAttribution: Vacilando commentedIt's basically because all of your images are vertical rather than horizontal. Of course, it is not your problem - just a case I haven't thought about when coding the automatic resizing logic. I'll try to fix that tonight and update this thread.

Vacilando CreditAttribution: Vacilando commentedHmm.. so I have downloaded your 9 images (though in lower than original quality) and displayed them using tag [bg|verticals|3|200] on a test page - and it seems to work, see http://quidne.vacilando.org/test
Perhaps you have too wide maximum width set in BG preferences? Try the above tag to override the width. Let me know.

schildi CreditAttribution: schildi commentedMay be I misunderstood the meaning of "Maximum width of full image". Its value is set to 10000 as you can see in the screen shot.
So I first try to lower this value and set it to 750 ...
no effect
By the way. Node 2208 also uses BG and shows a couple of stitched images (landscape) without a harm (ok, also with thick black border).
I don't know what I am doing wrong. What do you mean with "Try the above tag ( [bg|verticals|3|200] ) to override the width".
The tag I am using looks quite similar, only the directory name differs: [bg|bvz-19270611|3|200]

garym CreditAttribution: garym commentedThis bug is actually still occurring. I have 6 portrait images that are 465x700px (which is a 4x6 ratio). I set the maximum width to 220 px in Brilliant Gallery and it instead sizes the images as if they were landscape images. So instead of having the width to 220px and height to 330px, it sets width to 220px and height to 147px (which is a 6x4 ratio). This ends up showing big gaps between images. Example here: http://kristinit.com/testgallery
Can you help? Thanks! I am attempting a jquery cludge fix in my "live" gallery page so I left the example http://kristinit.com/testgallery untouched for you to see.
